Drawing on 47 peer-reviewed studies, the report examines the mental, sexual and physical health harms associated with pornography use, including the risks of early exposure. It calls for pornography-related harms to be recognised as a public health issue and sets out recommendations for prevention, education, professional training, support services and coordinated government action across the UK.

About Naked Truth Project
Established in 2014, the Naked Truth Project is one of the UK’s leading organisations dedicated to addressing the impact of pornography through education, recovery, research and advocacy.
Each year we deliver relationships and pornography education to around 20,000 pupils in secondary schools across the UK, helping young people navigate the challenges of an increasingly digital world. Alongside our education work, we provide specialist recovery support for individuals, couples and families affected by pornography, delivering more than 4,400 hours of recovery support, including 2,748 professional counselling sessions in the last year alone.
Our work is informed by research, lived experience and clinical practice, enabling us to contribute to national conversations on the health, relational and societal impacts of pornography. We regularly work with schools, healthcare professionals, charities, academics and policymakers to support evidence-informed responses to this growing public health issue.
This report builds on more than a decade of frontline experience, bringing together the latest evidence on the health harms of pornography and offering practical recommendations for policymakers, practitioners and wider society.
